Description

Voice of the Mountain represents spiritual connection between human and nature.

Bio

Originally from Ukraine and now based in Coquitlam, Serge Mozhnevsky trained in traditional wood carving at the Uzhorod Professional College in Ukraine before shifting toward sculptural metalwork. His elegant forms are inspired by nature, balance, and the human figure. Voice of the Mountain symbolizes the spiritual relationship between humanity and the natural world through flowing, minimalist lines that suggest harmony and movement. The sculpture’s quiet elegance encourages contemplation, allowing viewers to project their own emotions and interpretations onto the form. Mozhnevsky’s work demonstrates how restraint and purity of line can evoke powerful feelings of peace, freedom, and interconnectedness.
