Cranbrook, BC

Description

All that is unseen in our own potential, unlock inner strength and contentment. Key to the passageway.

Bio

Kimberley Métis artist Tom Watson has worked with metal since 2002, exploring the expressive possibilities of steel, stainless steel, titanium, and found materials. His sculptures often incorporate iridescent finishes, crystals, and organic forms that evoke emotion and curiosity. Unlocked Potential symbolizes untapped potential, inner strength, and the personal journey toward self-discovery. The sculpture suggests a threshold or key to transformation, inviting viewers to reflect on what lies unseen within themselves. Watson combines technical skill with imagination and symbolism, creating works that feel both grounded in craftsmanship and open to emotional and spiritual interpretation.
