Bio

Residing in Kaleden, BC, artist Jean Ouellon, approaching 80 years old, recently discovered his passion for art through welding sculptures. When the COVID-19 lockdown began, he felt the need to keep occupied, and after working with various metals for most of his life, through owning/operating a local welding and fabricating shop for over 30 years, he put his skills towards this new outlet. Jean noticed an abundance of used horseshoes available from local farriers, and went to work creating PEARL the Pandemic Salmon.
