Bio

Vancouver Island-based sculptor Angellos Glaros studied art at the Dundas Valley School of Art in Ontario and at the Nova Scotia College of Art. Coming to visit the west coast of Canada, he was inspired by the mountains and attracted to the easy-going lifestyle, and decided to permanently relocate. Working in many mediums, from wood and steel to stone or clay, Angellos is a talented furniture maker and metalworker, creating a variety of functional pieces in addition to his sinuous sculptures.
