Artist Steve Milroy works from his studio in Victoria, BC, where he lives with his wife Sue in a giant concrete tree stump home (complete with giant mushrooms, caterpillars, frogs and other oddities!) built by his own hands. A sculptor for over 35 years, he is also a renowned muralist, illustrator, and painter.

Crafted from steel, fibreglass, rock and epoxy, Willie Ketchit skillfully portrays a Great Horned Owl with immense wings and huge, curved talons as it attacks a defenceless bunny which relies only on speed and agility. Will he catch it? Nature is beautiful but for most, it’s simply survival.
