David Hunwick

Victoria, BC

Originally from the UK, where he studied sculpture at Ravensbourne College of Art and Design, David Hunwick emigrated to Canada in 2001, and sculpts and paints in his studio in James Bay, Victoria. He is passionate about passing on his knowledge and enabling others to discover the joy of creating and releasing their potential, currently teaching sculpture at Brentwood College.
The Kiss offers a whimsical and graceful meeting of two fish, poised on a ring, a symbol of eternity. Celebrating the gift of all that life offers, this lyrical bronze beautifully demonstrates David’s mastery of both nuance and form.
